OH BABY COME TO PAPA

Xcessive Manufacturing's ITB intake manifold for the KA24DE motor (RWD) is designed to take advantage of the factory high port/runner design combined with either a set a GSX-R or Hayabusa ITB's for dramatically increased flow on boosted or N/A motors looking for more mid to high rpm power.

We can add velocity stacks with a matched inside diameter for smooth air flow that can be run boosted or N/A with a plenum or N/A as individual open stacks. We can also do side draft carburetor adaptations.

As shown on GSX-R ITB's, new Xcessive plenum with bolting hardware with velocity stacks on the plenum bolt flange.

The plenum is permanent mold cast for superior finish and casting soundness with a phenolic shell core used for internal walls to yield some of the best quality available, then we add a 3" inlet pipe for charge pipe hookup and rotate it to help with fitment. The three piece runner/ITB/plenum design also allows for easy porting and polishing as well as ease of installation.

Factory temperature sensors will need to be reused as well as the lower PCV manifold and hoses. Hood clearance will need to be checked. The stock AAC is not used, an optional AAC remote mount kit is available (click here). You supply your own ITB's, or we can source them for you, the price does not include the ITB's. We can also adapt this other brands of ITB's.

Just recently, I discovered a lot of un-shed light about many of the drifters who came from GTA. And because of this, I will finally do something I have always wanted to do for a long time. I will create a text document with a list of names, and brief descriptions of every drifter who came, made a name for themselves, and left GTA.

I have already started the file and will try aviod writing negative comments about the players, I will only write about what they did and how they got along with everyone. As well as a rating out of 10 about their drift skill.

The Last Few Days

The Last Few Days have been great. Surely some people close to me have been gone for some time now, and in it's own right the journey isn't over. Talks have been told, new and old finally shared and had the pressure drained. I found something I really needed, and all it was...a talk. The Era of my first drift clan DK was full of mystery, betrayal, friendships...but in the end everything came together. There is still much more to be done here in GTA, but it feels as tho time is not moving forward, we are just hovering over the same spot we have always been. Right now...we need a release, and it will come.

I downloaded and ripped apart a few car mods for GTA IV, just to see how they are put together, and by the looks of things It shouldn't be very hard to convert the horrible Onevia into GTA IV, so I might just do it. Downloaded all required tools (as far as I know), started spliting the Onevia apart and making lower quality models (required)...should be interesting.

Getting a bodykit.

The reason behind the thought is that since the car has some rust and damage problems on the rear quarter panels and sides, I could sand it down and fix it as much as possible, stop the rust from spreading, then slap a bodykit on it to hide the messy spots, make it look more like noedels corolla AND it probably costs less than it would to fix it to remain stock...honestly, bodykits for a 240sx coupe only cost $200-400 made with Duraflex. So why not, probably would've gotten one in the future anyway.

Also been looking at engine parts, probably new gaskets since the KA is known for that problem, new exhaust manifold, maybe a radiator fuel lines / rail.

Started working on the map again, finished the bordering outside terrain, the rest to do is just a large downhill cliff to the water, so that'll only take a few minutes. After that it's just texturing left to do, long, boring, but easy. Expect the full release this week.

Onevia progress Update

Last 2 days work:

-Took apart passenger door to bang out dent
-Took off brakes
-Took off Tension rod, which was a royal pain in the arse.
-Took out front and side lights, disassembled rear lights
-Sanded all rust area's
-Took off trunk, sanded (it used to be blue!)
-Took off inner fender wall

Basically getting ready to replace light bulbs, parts and re-paint the whole car.

There's probably some thing I missed out on listing, and it may not seem like a lot but it proves to be a handful of hours work..and now it's time to sign off before my head smashes into the keyboard when I fall asleep.

Yay, woohoo! I have been GTA blog surfing and noticed that on almost every blog I visited, there are no links to this TDSD blog anymore! We have almost completely dropped off the map! Even on a blog where someone has actually taken the time to find the oldest of old GTA websites and blogs and put them on their sidebar, we still didn't make the cut. [TDSD] is dead on the internetaca, but still alive in-game...hopefully. From late 2005 to late 2009, you can count the years, great history.

2 of the 3 orders failed to go through, but the brakes are still coming. I thought about for a while, and there's still a lot to be known about the car, so I'm going to go with stock parts (which are max $50) for now, and when I've got another grand or two start buying the upgrades, kinda getting carried away here.

In the Garage

Well, we were told the car was going to be delivered at 10pm tonight, not expected...So we went to a movie, left at 9 just in case, car was already waiting for us.

Backed it off the car carrier, drove it into the garage and tested everything.
And now I have a detailed list of what needs to be done!

-All rust is very minor and can be sanded off
-Dent in passenger door can be buffed out and fixed
-A-frame needs to be shifted forward, which again will only take a few minutes
-And...oh wait, nothing else!

The owner fixed the engine gasket before he shipped it, the "suspension problem" was the a-frame, no major rust anywhere including underneath, everything works perfectly, the car is a 240sx front and s13 rear, all stock, even the awesome factory rims!!

So of course when my dad looked at it and tested it as well he was really shocked with it, he didn't expect -Everything- to work properly, but I guess that is indeed the case.

Beauty of a car, and for this occasion he is allowing me to use the company-borrowed camera! So now you'll get to see pics of the car and the sexyman inside.

Well I saw the car, it will need some work..but...We bought it!

So atm it's a salvage titled car, turns out the guy had bought it from a salvage auction and it'll cost at least $1,000 to repair, but my father has shown great interest in the project and will probably pay for at least half of the expenses.

Info on the car:

-KA24DE Engine (Still runs strong, absolutely no problems)
-Cracked front suspension (Tie rod, ect) (lots to buy, but cheap)
-Rusted and Dented right door (will have to buy a new one)
-No brakes, will have to buy a full 4 set.
-Slightly rusted muffler, may or may not need replacing
-Everything electronic still functions 100% properly (tested)
-SUNRUUF
-May need new Oil Cooler
-Comes with extra Cold Air Intake installed

It is a 1993 Nissan Sil80 (240 front, s13 back), being hauled here on Friday with all documentation. And be prepared for Blog support, I'll probably be offline a lot more working on the car and may need some help...mmm...not much more to say so here is the end of the post after this dot.

-Owner doesn't know which engine it has. (Can buy KA24DE for $300)
New Engine Info: 2.4L, which is what the 24 in KA24 stands for. (woot)
-Small rust patch under the back
-Dent in right door (can be buffed out)
-Horrible brakes, needs replacing
-Engine still runs good
-Mint condition Exterior and Interior aside from door
-White, black Trunk (will paint car)
-Cut myself playing golf (???)

It seems kinda strange, but I've taken out the clocks and stopwatches to record my lap times, and this is what has come up:

Both times were recorded with a digital / analog clock.

The Maps Future

Well for anyone curious, this is basically what the future of the map will be:

Finish the geography and track, which is what you see in the pictures; release the map on GTAInside, GTA-WorldMods, GTAGarage and GTANetwork

After it's release, which will be called "(track name) Light Edition", there will be a second release, which will feature a whole other track attached somewhere else on the mountain, accessible by a similar entrance road. This track will be a high speed touge track similar to the Gunma track in Japan. Expect this "Full Edition" to be released about 2 weeks after the release of the "Light Edition".

Spent another long while making some major changes this time. Collected all the textures I'll need, Created some large area's of Terrain, Fixed all slopes and bumps on the track, re-textured the whole track, finished the Bridge, Made fences, ect ect.

Ok, so after curving the track and making it as bump-free as possible in the editor, I took it for a test drive in the game.

The track has a few rough patches, but is very smooth otherwise. The only noticeable problem was the maps collision at the ends of the map. Unfortunately the col-editor messes up the collision on the East-West sides and stretches some of the verticies, BUT do not worry, this can be easily fixed by adding 2 random blobs on the East and West sides of the map, that way the blobs get messed up instead of the track. Adding terrain and scenery will also help fix any collision bugs.

Desert - Dirty, Dusty, Sandy, somewhat like Ebisu Circuit
Full Grass - Nice green grass, freshly mowed, somewhat like on Fantasy Hill and Sakina.
Light Grass - Spring season, rusty green / brown grass with some dead patches.
Both - A combination of Dirt and Dust on part of the track, Grass on the other.

Map Mod

So I want to bring up a new modeling project. I am almost done the Nissan Silvia s13 Elegy replacement mod, and have no other modeling projects on the go. GTA SA hasn't had a really good racetrack mod since SAkina, which is what? 1 year old now? I already attempted map mods before and made a box shaped building at the LS beach in about 5 minutes, collision, textures all worked so I know if I do start this map mod it WILL get finished. I will have nothing but time for this whole week so that's about how long it will take, as soon as I figure out what the majority of people would like to see.

2 Poles, 1 here and 1 on SkR, final vote will decide which to be made.
Open to suggestions so feel free to post, but revolves around the 2 base idea's listed:
-Traditional Road course
-Create a fairly decent sized road course, perfect for drifting and racing with good scenery and atmosphere, as well as challenging corners to keep you entertained. Similar to Ebisu Circuit in Japan

-Unique High speed Touge
-Create a realistic, very challenging high speed touge course similar to the Japanese "Gunsai" touge track used by professionals only, seen in many videos with Japanese driftking Keiichi Tsuchiya.

I will not another map mod like SAkina, Akagi or Rokko because they simply take too much time, and there are already enough of them made.

Toyota Supra?

I haven't really done any research on a MKIII supra before, and Don't know how much anything will cost for it...But for the last week my parents have told me about 3 deals on MK3 Supra's, each for $1,000.

The first deal was in the Autotrader, completely bone stock with minimal rust, $1,150.
The second deal was a trade, My dad's Harley motorcycle (Which he wants to sell) for a 87 Supra, completely re-done and working like new.
The third deal was over the phone, another 87 supra for $1,000, no rust but missing a muffler.

3 Supra's for 1g each, that's a VERY low price, now I must do some research on the engine and the car! Post anything you know on the chatbox. All info is appreciated.

Trucker Roleplay

Ok, so basically for the last 2 days I've developed a server script called SA-TR .:Truckers Roleplay:.

By now you should know it is based on Semi trucks and trailers, making deliveries across SA, speeding, having parties, discovering, eating and drinking at roadside bars..ect

So far Here is a list of what has been added to the server:
-Type /mission to begin a deliver to 1 of 50 random locations.
-Must have a trailer attached to begin!
-4 Trucking companies
-Agraxo
-BroadLine
-Trijet
-Muhillion
-If the server becomes popular, you can create your own.
-Police class
-Bone County Police
-Red County Police
-All 3 Semis and lots of copies at Company spawns
-Trailer Depots positioned all around SA
-Local chat radius, /cb for longe range chat
-Vehicle Health, Name and Speedometer
-Player Clock
-Random payment from $2000 - $6000 for completed delivery
-You gain 1 "slip" (player score), every delivery you make
-2 roadside "fun" area's

Don't worry, a LOT, and I do mean a ton of more stuff is coming to the server. It will be a complete combination of everything you'd have to switch servers to get, packed into 1 server with the main occupation of Roleplaying a trucker and making deliveries.

Ok, nevermind the below post.

After hours of attempts I FINALLY managed to get the damn boat to work!
I have no idea what was the main cause of the problem, but I compltely re-edited many parts of the boat.

Split the collision into 100000 pieces and reattached, changed collision surfaces in COLEDitor, compressed textures even further, changed and completely remade some textures. re-placed dummies, re-edited axis'

ON AND ON AND ON AND ON

oh well it's fixed, final version coming soon with furniture!

The Boat has sunk! Man overboard!

Ok, to be serious I'm having a nice ol' fashion problem with the Yacht.

At first I thought it was the collision file causing the problem, but after several billion tests on that, and lowering it to SA standards, and finally a Fly-by of the boat in-game to Finally realise it IS NOT the collision.

So here's the problem:

LOD or Long Range blurry lo-detail model of the boat loads fine in-game, you can fly by it, but when you get close the boat, bang. Game Crash.

I've tried many, many things but it could be even the most minor thing causing this, so I need some help.

Post any idea's or thoughts on what it might be in the chatbox, all help appreciated.
Maybe it's related to textures
Maybe it's something...something...on the main model of the boat

Nissan Silvia s13 Rebuild Pt.1

Well really this should be about part 5, but oh well.

Ever since the HDD crash, I have been veerryyy slowly rebuilding the Nissan Silvia s13, which had been finished, but had no backup copies. Only recently I have started to do lots of modeling again so here are a few screenshots of progress made so far on this rebuild.

I have gone a bit further when it comes to detail on the car, so that mean's more 3d parts, more parts you can only see a tiny bit of, ect.

This post will probably get deleted right after i write it but it's ok with me. Seemingly that ive lost ALL my friends related to GTA SA:MP drifing and such i have no other choices but to officially announce my leversage of this fucked up community.So for this occasion i shall write my ''storyline'' throughout the whole I shall call it gta part of my life.So here we go:When i got my copy of GTA San Andreas in early 2005 I was stunned by the game literaly, and i always searched for a way to play with my friends in multiplayer.Later on SA:MP got released and i immediately downloaded it.From the beginning i got addicted to it.I didn't start drifting when i joined the community.I was just another ''noob stunter'' around that everyone disrespected.Eventually i got fed up of all those haters around me, so i asked a good friend of mine a long time ago what did he do to make him so respected in the community, he just answered: ''Drifting.''So i took a look at the D1GP Season of 2006 at Eurosport tv and seeing those imports dance on the track took my heart away..I started drifting in sa on ANY server i could find, all the people were nice around me and i tried my best to be the same thing to them, yet there are a few that i shall not speak about that were asking for attention by standing out apart from everyone and being ''cool'' -fucking up the community.Unfortunately lots of other players did that along them aswell, cause of that, the community got parted up, haters and peace makers.I just tried not to be anyone of those, that got me the disrespect by haters and peace makers.Further along, whenever i made a video of my BAD skills everyone would bitch me about how it ''sucks or whatever''(Ya silvia)instead of supporting eachother.So that made me stop makeing videos.Then as any other racer around i begged to join the all too famous TDSD back then on 0.1b.Eventually i did, and i was excited to be between the what i called ''Top 5'' in the community.Then GTA IV got out and 1000 players went M.I.A for obvius reasons.
0.1b was practically gone even before IV got out cause all the players misteriously went to 0.2x. I haven't played much in that period cause i had no idea that everyone else was on 0.2x.Then i realised that they all wer there, so i started playing too..
First day on a 0.2x server SUCKED. Literaly. All around me were being disrespectfull to me for no obvius reasons.They all called me a noob around but i didn't seem to care, since i didn't want any trouble around.Later on i played again and again and again just trying to earn respect from ANY racers around, no luck.Not willing to stay in a community that doesn't even say hello to me anymore is pretty normal.Nowadays i just model 3D Models of cars, buildings and anything you come up with.I hope to sell them all once i get 18. Aside from MJ, Ferrah, Billy mays and Ed Mcmahon's deaths, my computer has run into a problem. The hard drive is...toast. We placed it into other computers, ect ect but nothing happened, definitly the hard-drive and all my files are lost. Will take it to the shop in a few days to see if it can be restored / repaired to get my files back, but as of now I'm just going to buy a new HDD and start all over again. So this means the Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R KPGC110 and the Silvia s13 are gone, along with w/e other projects I had. Another new start...oh well, i have considered the possibility of being hacked, and the guy is a major asshole if it's true, especially since I've been trying to turn around my own asshole appearence to others.

Well w/e, will be back on MSN and SAMP in a day or two, until then, stay smokey - and stay clean.

In the last hour I was accused twice by 2 majorly selfish assholes of cheating in races.

On GTA IV I was in a race server and kept winning, and when I didnt (because of the other 15 racers ramming), i would get the best lap times. So 1 guy immediatly says I have a edited handling.cfg. I explain for atleast 10 minutes that I do not have a modified file and completely hate cheating...which I do, especially in a race. Anyway he doesnt believe me and goes into some phycolical crap about him being a unique individual...right...

and on SAMP as usual a random idiot accuses me of using "speedhack" on straightaways, even tho our cars went the same speed...funny. He rambles on for another 15 minutes (eventually convincing his friend im a cheater), so they both start harassing me by ramming me, shooting me and coming up with any reason in the world why im a speedhacker with a modified handling.

Just another annoying day in the life of a racer.

But then again, a few selected people here on SAMP actually DO use speedhacks and suposed "stock" handlings, which are modified to make their drifts look better and get more popularity. Sadly a few of these people play on our regular servers and you might even be best friends with one. Just ask them to make a 1:52 bigear time attack in-game with other players. It won't happen. ...Unless your Sarah because atleast she had proof.

Yes Yes, a TopGear challenge of purchasing a car for under £100. Unfortunatly here in Canada, even after using google and nearly every Canadian and Global car sales finder, all you can find on that price are "Parts Cars" or generally..scrap metal that isnt going anywhere. So I'm taking a bit more to purchase a car of my own, in my own Canadian TopGear Challenge..eh.

Energy Drinks and Drivers

Lately the only commercials and advertisements I have been seeing on car related sports such as Drift and Rally are all with Energy Drink sponsors. Energy drinks have taken over the North American racing leagues, by placing huge sponsors on cars and having endless promotions from their own "Professional Drivers", who are actually just a bunch of deadbeats that could drive decently. Mostly all of the drivers who drive with an energy drink sponsor:
-Are from rich backgrounds
-Are the worst drivers in their leagues
-Use false ads to gain reputation and popularity

Honestly, any time I go past the raceway or go to an event, the main thing I will see is energy drink sponsors, and it's bloody annoying. Energy Drinks have literally taken over any sport that involves speed. The North American sports have become like the WWE, as fake as can be, but everyone likes it; Lower competition, no skill...the only things left to do is get Satalite TV and tune into those Japanese and European channels!

Nakashi Project

Yello, today I shall announce to everyone that I am indeed making a large touge map mod. Now that I have used the Coleditor and MED, I have figured out exactly how to get a new chunk of land in the game properly, so now I just need the land. Yes, it's a pretty lame Japanese type name for the mountain that I thought of in 2.45 seconds, which will most likely change since the mountain is turning more North American that anything else. Anyways, my goal is to make a high detail, muilti-purpose mountain racing map, good for beginners, the average, and pro's. In order to do this, some things will be done:
-Scenery will be wonderfull to make players want to go back, even just to cruise in a Manana.
-No guardrails, this is for the pro's who have always wanted this
-High Speed corners, again for the pro's, the main idea is to have a fast car and make time attacks without falling off the edge.
-Normal size / a bit smaller roads than street roads, nothing a beginner can't handle, also since most beginers have poor, super slippery handlings, they will be able to take the big, high speed corners at low speeds and not crash
-Different routes, this includes a dirt road that will go as high as the normal road goes, made for rallying and offroad fun. Maybe in a second version there will be a second main route.
-Realism, This mountain wont have any weird corners or pokemon, just a simple Countryside touge.

Ok, so that's the intro, pics of current dev. stages will come sooner or later.
Help is definitly welcome to all who can make 3d models, this is meant to be a map for all so it should be made by all.

So far I have created a long straitaway with 1 big corner and 2 smaller ones after it. The straight is a valley until one side opens up and you see a big farm with a cropfield a river behind it, which leads to the dam you cross over on the third corner.

Not really, but I thought i'd share this funny little tale of what happened on 0.2X. I joined a drift server, started drifting, and I run into 2 elegies (Kassik and Revention), start drifting with them, start pwning them. Eventually it's my turn to lead the group and I immediatly start loosing them. Kassik leaves the server, and Revention continues. He leads for a while, with me right behind him, then we switch and I lead. In a few minutes he was long behind, so he just gave up, and that's when the name calling started. It's pretty pathetic that even after this many years, people still go into servers under different names, with s0beit ready and try to beat people, fail 90% of the time and resort to petty name calling that I just ignore by pressing F7. They even start confirming and joking about being undercover...

I hope a few of them read this, seeming as tho they like to stalk people so much...

Yup,sure it was, you might have noticed already that i wasn't around for ages, or you maybe didn't cause you probably don't care, but whatever.I'm not sure if i will ever go back to the SA-MP community, if i find one goddamn good reason to get back, i sure will.Lately ive been doing what i wanted ever since i joined the ''modding'' community.Modeling actual cars.Also a day ago i just joined SA-MP to see how is stuff going, i was about to spawn, when an admin changed the gravity level to zero.So obviusly i couldnt fall to the ground.After that, this happens:You have been banned for the following reason: (don't afk at the spawn place).That day i realised that most of the server admins are complete retards.Funny thing too, when i entered that server i got called a drifting noob, when the guy that called me like that, was an actual newbie in the community, most of them don't even know that there was an old 0.1b community that was TONS better than this new one on 0.2x.Things I just said were the main reasons why i probably won't be coming back for a long time.If anyone wants to have some drift session on the 0.1b for the old times, give a shout at the cb, make sure that no 0.2x retards would be involved in that meeting.Aside the SA-MP, my birthday is comeing,that will mark my third year in the gta community, hope ill get some presents, also some guys are planning to kick my ass for no reason o.O I will soon post some pics of my scratch made toyota mark 2 02' version, let me just finish the interior, this will probably be my last mod for san andreas, ill make mods for rfactor and lfs in the future and ofcourse, 3d models, you won't see anymore conversions from me, cause im just modeling from now you so you can't call me a thief lol.That wraps the stuff for me today folks, cheers!

Gaining Reputation

Ok, so I've stopped being a lonely outcast a**hole of a drifter, and am becoming more and more like I used to be, getting more involved with a whole new crowd on 0.2X. Well, just after 2 days playing on a few servers, I've had people purposly follow me around, watch me drift, even record me! I stick to my code, I never brag, I never boast, I never act like top-shit, but naturally the reputation comes back. All in all I could care less about what others think of me, all I'm saying is that I think it's pretty cool how I'm gaining reputation back and making a lot of new friends, as well as drifting at what seems to be my best ever. I've made a server now, with a few custom drift area's and 1 more to come. (75.158.52.23:7777)

If anyone wants to drift with me again like old times, go ahead and join that server, or the [MMT] Server (124.176.171.207:8888). Expect more videos from me, Drift sure as hell isn't dead. I'm actually having a lot of fun, it reminds me a lot of the old drifting that was done back in late 2006, early 2007, except this time I'm the teacher, not BLOOD or Milkman.

Been a while since the last actual "blog post", well..here's a new one

Chase the dream, and not the competition, perhaps it's something I ignored for way too long and should have taken into deep consideration. Ever since I tried to make it to the top, become the best at something, for some reason I never could achieve that goal. Why? I asked myself about 100 times. Everytime the moment came and I stepped up to the $5 dish, I would slip. Sometimes it's not the people you hate that would do the wrong thing, but the people closest to you. Competition is what ruins almost everything, when friendship is put aside in order to make way for niggers vs niggers. You can curse and swear all you want, but in the end it all just goes for shit anyways. So many people get caught up in competition, and they completely forget the dream, as they think they need to beat the competition in order to make the dream a reality, when all your going to do is fade away afterwards. The competition is what tries to ruin you, and if your goal is to destroy them thats exactly what they will do to you. Forget them, forget the critizism, if it's not what you want to do, and not how you want to do it, what is it? a dream? No. A Goal? No. It's nothing, its rubbish. Go for what you desire most, by every detail.

Well, I guess the good part is that my parents (with all the money they have coming to them now) are going to buy me and my brother cars, limit 5k, guarenteed. The bad part is telling them which car to buy. I've already been shopping and have shown them various results, this was how it turned out:

*Shows them a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro, $5000*
Responce: "hmm, thats not bad, looks like it's in fairly good condition, not a bad color either"

*Shows them a Nissan Silvia s13, $4200*
Responce: what the fuck is that? that's ugly. Besides, you don't know what they have done to it (there's a description below with every engine upgrade / mod and whats been done), so now you would have to re-paint it and get new tires.

--It had some nice looking custom rims (not sure which brand), and the color was a dark blue. Not ugly at all

*Shows them an old Pontiac Trans Am, $6000 (above limit*
Responce: wow, thats really nice, looks like he has taken good care of it

*Shows them a Nissan Skyline R32, $5000*
Ehh, that looks really ugly, and the engine seems like a piece of shit, you should really stick with that Camaro.

So obviously you should have gathered now that my parents are complete idiots that only put trust in American / Canadian cars. Yes, they were nice, but their was absolutely nothing wrong with the 2 Nissan's, and they looked very clean. The Trans Am actually DID have rust, but they ignored it like it wasn't there, and talked about how good the engines were. They should really do some research into Japanese engines (Sr20 and RB26). I would choose the imports over the muscles for the soul reasons that:
-The upgrades are cheaper
-You can just as much fun
-The fuel economy is better
-Even without a super loud roaring V8, you can still look cool.
-They are being accepted more widely into racing events.

As a second car, later when I have more money, I would buy a Third Gen. Camaro, since they are my favourite muscle car.

Nissan Silvia 180SX / S13 Modification | SR20dett

Hello there, it's been a while since I posted pictures of one of my cars, but here is one of the many projects I have going, that I actually completed! *shock*. I started creating this Silvia as just something to practice on, make parts for..ect. It started to look better and better so I decided to make it into the full car, and by then I wanted it in GTA. Every single part on this car is 100% scratch made by me, the main chassis (from the back of the doors up till the rear lights) was from a free 3d model, which included every exterior part from the car (bumpers, front end, hood), but I ended up having to delete everything except the rear half. Total work time is about 7 days, every texture is taken from real photo's and none were taken from other people's TXD's (because I hate stealing like every other GTA modeler). The engine modifications most noticable are as follows:
-Tomei Twin Turbo kit
-HKS Intake setup
-Porsche Cross-over exhaust
-ARC Intercooler

I plan to make several upgrades (bumpers, hoods, spoilers, ect) in the future, as I already have plans to make it look more appealing. As for now it is just a stock s13 except the front bumper, which was referenced off a real s13 bumper (do not know make at this time) and the engine.

Well, I was visiting a few websites and blogs, and I can't believe how many people complain about people stealing their cars! And then I look at the cars the person complaining has made, and look..they are stolen. Surprise Surprise, I notice many of the popular modders are the ones who steal parts and cars. People have gone to the limit of stealing cars and parts, moving the polygons so if people try to replicate the Sangerspy Trueno incident it won't look the same. It's sad, yet funny. The ricers have their own websites, forums and blogs that many people post on. It's like a ricer union, everyone acting like they know stuff they don't, making posts with 100% correct grammar..

But yes, it tends to be all the popular people...like people doing drugs. And most likely only those people are the ones that will post a negative comment, or a positive comment to make it look like they aren't one in the shoutbox. Go ahead, it's just sad. Keiichi Tsuchiya's AE86 For Sale

Well, as you may have seen in some of those Japanese touge racing video's with Keiichi Tsuchiya, he was driving a sort-of Initial-D TRD Ae86, tuned exactly for him with many new parts. Well, Keiichi dumped the car and replaced it with a new one, one that was obviously much better...

So now the Ae86 that Keiichi gave up is for sale for the third time, in Canada, as it was bought for a much higher price and imported over. Unfortunatly I couldn't talk my parents in to spending the whole $5,000 (nice and cheap)..so too bad for me.

Anyway, the car is still in the exact same condition as when Keiichi was driving it, hasn't been used much at all and is just waiting to be on the track again. Thought I might post this just for people's intrests.

Best Movie Ever. I just got back from the movie theatre after watching Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino", I fucking loved the movie. Honestly, in my opinion it is the best movie I have ever seen. The main charactor is a stale, but true old man who been through a whole lot in his life, and is faced with a new trouble. He is very racist in the beginning, and completely mokes Koreans and Blacks. The movie features a bit of everything: ricers, posers, racism, epicness, american muscle, a badass grandpa, and a very true story. Really, it is a great movie, as in the end, 1 man defeats a whole gang, by doing nothing..which shows how pathetic the gang and it's pussy members are. The movie changes it's emossions quickly...it's got a lot of funny parts, mostly involving racism, and a few very sad parts. This isn't just a movie you can say "lawl ricers got pwned" and leave it at that, it's a fuckload more. It's put together really well...that's all I can say until you watch it yourself.

For all of you who say the GTA drift community is dead, it isn't. Sure, there are -1000 people than there was before, but hell, it sure left a mark didn't it?

Everywhere you go, everything you search on Youtube, pretty much leads to a GTA drift video. After years, GTA was serving the biggest drift community in gaming history. For all of the people who are still here, and for the new players still starting in drift, I just want to say I am glad to have been a part of this community since day 1. I had many rough times, and got sick of seeing the idiots pollute the community, but that didn't make me leave. What keeps me going is the fact that this is a community nomader how you look at it, you've got your tuners over there, your drifters over there, and everything in between. The memories of when Nobody bitches and actually takes the time to have a Tandem are never forgotten. I still encourage people to drift more often, but as long as there is even just a small group of people left, other's will still branch off the tree. I'm looking forward to see what will happen in IV when things get going, even if the only racers are ricers, it's still keeping the community alive. However, it is the most pathetic of "Hero's" that are remembered, which is sad. "War Hero", my ass. The army is a fucking job, you signed up for it, it's your fault if you die, there is nothing great you should be remembered for. I guess it's official, I'm leaving the GTA drift community. It has pretty much died off completely, the forum I created is never being used, this blog gets rarely any visits... I'm not ashamed to say it, leaving 2 communities will change me...2 communities I have been with for a long, long time. I have had my adventures, I have had my troubles. It's not a sad leave, nor a leave that should be remembered. I never expect it will be remembered, my main goal was to be remembered for something, something that could change people's lives. I cannot accomplish this and be remembered, I have done my best balancing both elements.

As of December 25th, I will be gone. I will most likely take off into new games, with a new name. Even if I see you, I most likely won't reply. Don't give recent events the credit for my sudden change of mind. It is just me, growing into something I wish to proceed until the end.

This to all of you who have known me, and to all of those who I wished I had known.

A few things to be said really.

It's easy to defend yourself as an asshole. It's the worst thing to defend yourself as a weakling. It's difficult to defend yourself as yourself. Life a series of stages, everyone goes through em', regardless of age. Each stage promotes a personality. No, this is not because of things that are happening around the person. If you pay close attention, you will notice people act a certain way, then switch to another. It happens to everyone, one stage after the other. Hard to notice really, as most do not even care.

I found someone that reminds me of myself 3 months ago so much it's almost painful. Maybe to be a guide would set someone on my Voyage along side. Eh..it's hard to explain.

British - Self centered people with very high ego's...ya
French - Pretty much the same as the British
Estonian - Very friendly, easy to get along with
Swedish - Hard to say, knew a few of them but they vanished later
Canadians - Doorknobs for the most part, even tho I am Canadian, I don't act like an ignorant, no-brained sheep herder.

After Beto made his R30, many others did the same like a heard of sheep, bahhh. And after abominations of that car were made, the new fetish is the Toyota Supper. Many Supra's have been made in even the last week...

So what better to do that have a Skyline contest, which has nothing to do with the paragraph above.
Before the R30, the skyline R32 was one of the fetish's going around, so lets go back to the roots!

This contest will be a bit harder, and different than any other contest there has been..

So lets get down to buiznezz:
All contestants are able to choose from a Skyline R32,33 or 34.

Rules:
-Absolutely NO stolen parts (models, textures), even if you have permission
-You must give credit to the author of the main body
(In other words, you will be downloading a skyline(or converting), completely removing everything except the Main body frame / Interior)
-Do not place your car on the R(i)CE Limiter, unless you are Uncle Ben.
-No Googoo juice, ( N single-o S)
-No Wide-body-kits
-No spoilers above roof lvl
-No Lambo doors or Suicide doors
-No huge ace speekar's or taco-meter's

Requirments:
-3d engine
-New Bodykit (Front, Rear, Sides)
-New Interior parts: Swheel, rollcage, seats, basic shiete
-Sunroof
-Add the author's name and a Confederate flag somewhere on ze whip (If you converted the car from a game, put that games logo on it)
-Your steering wheel must have a Logitec G25 texture
-Must have a bottle/can of Coca Cola in the cup holder aswell as a Coca Cola logo on the rear window of the car

The winner of this contest will receive the 2nd and 3rd place cars, so you all better make your cars really good, but not too good...because you don't want to loose your ride right?

More thoughts

It's easy to find video's of near-perfect drifting in LFS; "1000+hp", I don't think I'd need/want to go that far. In rFactor, you might only find a few near-perfect drift vids, and in GTA...well, thats a completely different story. In GTA, there are literally over 1000 vids, and only 1 or 2 have near-perfect drifting. With such a high population, you think there would be more. LFS is completely crowded with these "Pro" drifts, rFactor has a few, and GTA has little to none. So vids are an example of Population vs Skill.

Please, if it is so easy, make a video with perfect drifting.

Boredom Factor:

Well, here comes the Boredom Factor, in LFS you can pick 1 view span of cars to race with, and less than a handful of tracks to race on. The tracks are detailed, yes...but they can get very boring after only a few laps. And since they are only tracks, the corner's can be pretty dull.

In rFactor, you have map mods (yay), and you can have some pretty intense tracks. Mostly all tracks for download are professionally made, which means detail, and even some tricks or surprises along the way. Get bored? Download a new one, maybe one of those huge ass one, along with a new car. rFactor may get boring after a while, as you are required to download many many mods to get onto more than half of the servers. So enjoy SP!

GTA, has plenty of map modifications for not only racing, but even just some scenery, places to stay and whatever else there is in the list of endless possibilities. You can easily join server's on both Muilti theft auto and San Andreas - Multiplayer, yes..2 choices of Multiplayer networks. You can create server scripts easily, which have many possibilities. You can go: kill someone, parachuting, drifting, Role-playing, Suicide bombing..anything :D. The main reason people get fed up with it is because of the players online SAMP 0.1, whom are mostly complete noobito's. However, on 0.2.2, or 0.2X, there are many Drift, stunt, deathmatch and Roleplay servers that are filled with respectable players.

So for anyone who hates GTA just because of the noobs in the drift community, go play 0.2.2 or 0.2X and find yourself a good server to stick with.

LFS:GTA:rFactor

Verdict: GTA is harder than LFS or rFactor.

In LFS, it is almost too easy to Drift, Saudi, Drive normally..w/e, LFS is easy as hell. It took me less than 1 day to become good at LFS.

In rFactor, things are harder than LFS, but in less than a day, you can learn it as well to LFS. rFactor is a bit more fun that LFS due to the many tracks and cars for download.

In GTA, things are definitely harder than the previous listed. Along with the massive amounts of possibilities in modifications, GTA's over-all driving is harder than rFactor, or LFS. In both other games, you can easy learn to drive like a pro in just a few hours, and thats that. However, in GTA..it may take weeks, to months to learn to drive good. Compare an SAkina run in GTA to a Akina run in rFactor. People even now have un-installed maps such as SAkina simply because: they suck at it. Many people just say GTA is too easy, and that LFS or rFactor is much much harder, but thats complete bullshit. Weather your using a Steering wheel, keyboard or even mouse, the difficulty does not change.

Just a thought. And just focus on difficulty level, not realism or feature bull-.

Some dude posts pictures of a car and says "Hellz ya mon, I convertotaterited it from Lemon Juiced 2". Then some moron comes along and says, "DUDE, THAT CAR IS FKIN WICKED!!!1, YOU ARE A FKIN PRO MODELER! 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" This is what I mean, Seriosly, HE CONVERTED THE CAR, it doesn't make him and uber modeler if he converts it, technically thats not even modeling.
